                      our "cable" (actually fiberoptics) system has a Morton public channel and last nite they showed the replay of the Metamora at Morton game from a couple weeks ago...
                      Kennell played point guard the entire game and dominated...
                      he scored 30 and also must have had perhaps... 10 rebounds and 10 assists..
                      He led Metamora to a huge early lead over a pretty good Morton team and they cruised to a 24-point win - with Nate winning the WHOI Athlete of the Week for his performance.

                        I was at the BHS game last weekend. I thought Nate had an ok game but he wasn't even the best player on his team that night and had a cold night from the arc. I think he only had 4 puts in the 1st half. I don't watch prep ball so I'm a poor judge of talent at that level. If Nate can shoot I can't wait to see him in a BU uniform.

                              Metamora plays at Pekin HS tonight then they play East Peoria next Friday to conclude their regular season.

                              Metamora is the TOP SEED in Sub-Sectional B of the Peoria Sectional that will be played at Renaissance Coliseum
                              In the other Sub-Sectional, Galesburg is #1 Manual is #2 seed, Washington is #3 seed

                              Metamora begins 3A Regional play at the Dunlap Regional vs. the winner of Dunlap vs. Peoria Notre Dame on Tuesday Mar. 1 at 7pm
                              If they advance then Metamora will then play for the Regional Title on Friday March 4 at 7pm against whoever advances out of Richwoods, IVC, and #4 seed Sterling HS

                              If Metamora advances to Sectionals then they play at Ren-Col Wed. Mar. 9 at 7pm vs. the winner of the Washington Regional (Manual, Washington, UHigh, Central, Morton & E. Peoria)- then the Sectional Title game would be vs. the winner of the Galesburg vs. Dixon Regionals (Fri., March 11 at 7pm).

                              Supersectional with the right to go to Carver Arena would then be Tues. Mar. 15 at 6pm
