  • The foul situation

Right now most of the top ranked teams are fattening up on unranked and lowly teams so nobody gives a dang that the fouls are being so ridiculously called..

but you watch - the instant a couple of ranked teams lose big games on bad calls there will be an uproar...

40 fouls called (24 on Bradley) and we still have almost 1/3 of the game left to go!!!!

It's now up to 28 fouls on BU with more than 10 minutes to go. Arizona has attempted 39 FTs. There will likely be several Braves foul out at this pace.

That is very hard to watch and harder to work glad I didn't see it. Just not fun. Hopefully they return to something in between. I realize Dave is partial but it seemed like some fouls didn't need to be called. Didn't see it but just relaying what he said. AZ shoot 52 FT's guess we have a something we can work to improve on.

trust me - if we are ever on the winning end of a record setting 52 FT game I will still be honest enough to say it was a travesty...

the new rules were supposed to IMPROVE the flow of the game and allow the OFFENSE to score more...

now handcuff the offense and prevent them from even getting a dang shot other than what they can throw up from the FT line
Betcha attendance is down again this year with this stuff...

During WSU's first game there was 39 fouls on CSU (66 total) which lead to WSU going 31-41 from the line. 35% of WSU's points came off Free Throws.

During the end of the game, the crowd was booing fouls against CSU, it was that bad. It was impossible to get into a rhythm offensively. Even though you were scoring points off free throws, WSU could have scored MORE if they just let them play. There were quite a few made baskets that were called off because the defense was getting a foul called every possession on the perimeter as a player started to drive.
