This week's MVC Player of th Week is UNI's Wes Washpun - a natural selection since he led UNI to an upset win over #1 ranked North Carolina

The Newcomer of the Week is SIU's Mike Rodriguez - averaged 12 pts/4 asst but no other newcomer did well this 2nd week of the season - all BU's newcomers unfortunately saw BU go 0-3...
