Just as a comparison here's how our top 5 freshmen look currently in scoring- and the projections are based on likely 32 games with 21 remaining that we will have this year - and are based on the players continuing the current production per game.

    DLO - 103 pts, 9.4 ppg, projection: 300 pts
Barker- 84 pts, 7.6 ppg, projection: 245 pts
    Pittman - 59 pts, 7.4 ppg, projection: 214 pts
    Suggs - 70 pts, 6.4 ppg, projection: 204 pts
van Bree - 69 pts, 6.3 ppg projection: 201 pts

    One other stats comment....
ONLY TWICE in the last 20 years has any MVC player finished the season with 10.0 rebounds per game or greater....and nobody has in the past 15 years
2000-2001 Joe Breakenridge (UNI) averaged 10.5 rpg
1996-1997 Jim Cruse (InSU) averaged 10.6 rpg
..and >10.0 has happened only 5 times in the past 30 years...
the last time anyone grabbed more than 11.0 was 1984-85- Xavier McDaniel grabbed 14.8 rpg.

Evansville's Egidijus Mockevicius is currently averaging 13.5 rpg, which is tied for 2nd nationally
behind LSU's Ben Simmons who is almost everyone's projection for the #1 NBA Draft pick next June.
