    Coach Wardle to be on WMBD this morning (Tuesday 11/10)

    Coach Wardle will be on WMBD 1470 with Greg & Dan this morning (Tuesday, Nov. 10). He will come on about 8:39 and talk about last night's game and the upcoming Ball State game.

    nice recap of our team's efforts - and Coach Wardle praised the guys for reacting to the foul situation and still playing well... doesn't think every game will be like this.
    Also highlighted what to expect vs. Ball State and talked a little about how a few of our guys are tough matchups.

      Coach Wardle is on WMBD this morning...

      He talked mostly about getting the players' mindsets ready for games and keeping our guys focused - especially when we're trailing - and how we changed our focus to make the really good run on ISU.
      In the end it still came down to turnovers, getting into foul trouble & our missed FTs - and that's where our guys still need to get better and be consistently better.
      we are definitely shooting and scoring a bit better - and in certain areas (like keeping ISU's point guard off his game) we are doing well.

      As far as what's left for us this season-
      just 4 conference games left (Drake and Evansville at home & at SIU tomorrow then at Indiana State to finish the regular season), and we probably won't win all four but we're playing well enough to hope we can win 2 or 3 of them if we play very well.
      And we have a chance to still catch Loyola for 8th place since they do not own the tiebreaker on us.
      But in all likelihood we will finish as 9 or 10 seed depending on Saturday's game vs. Drake - so in a way that's a must-win.
      Then as we head into the MVC Tourney - we will be playing Thursday and a win Saturday probably means we face Loyola on Thursday March 3rd.
      And a loss to Drake would possibly mean we face Missouri State.

        I think shooting for 2-3 wins is absolutely insane. MAYBE we beat Drake. Maybe...
