Bradley women play 2nd exhibition Saturday, Nov. 7

After winning their first exhibition last Sunday against McKendree University 52-38, the Bradley women play their second and final exhibition Saturday, Nov. 7 at 2:00 PM in the Renaissance Coliseum against University of Missouri-St. Louis.
UMSL was 14-14 overall last season, and 9-9 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. Bradley was 6-24, 5-13 last season.

Turnovers and poor shooting have plagued the Braves for the last couple years, and against McKendree those same problems continued. In that first exhibition win, BU shot just 34.4% overall, 16.7% from three, 43.8% on FTs, and they had 27 turnovers.

Bradley stretched the lead out to 43-23 at halftime over UMSL-

Much better shooting by Bradley-12/29 (41.4%) from the floor, and 5-10 (50%), and just 8 turnovers so far.

The good:
They shot 50% for the game (26/52), and 47.1% on threes (8-17), and had balanced scoring with 11 players scoring. Everyone who played more than 2 minutes broke into the scoring column.

The not so good:
They ended up with 19 turnovers- too many.
Whitney Tinjum, who is projected to be Bradley's top scorer this season, played only 8 minutes. Does anyone know if she was limited by an injury?
