I haven't given my opinion yet on what I've seen so I guess it's time. So far I'm very impressed with what Coach has brought in, compared to what left last Spring. This is going to be a very difficult year with so little experience at the D-1 level but the future looks very bright. Kinda reminds me of my Cubs future. This team may not win much this year but I'm confident it would beat last year's team. What impresses me most is how talented these kids are for Freshmen. We have not played anybody yet that we shouldn't beat but it is fun to watch how hard they play. I do think our offense is ahead of our defense currently. It is so refreshing to see bigs that can make 3's ,rebound , and actually handle the ball without looking like they were dribbling a football. Also nice to see kids who don't seem to care who scores. Something we didn't see from one our guards several years ago. Another nice thing is we seem to have a lot of interchangeable kids who can play more than one position. We are going to have to be patient this year but I'm convinced better days are ahead.

She got the peacock, it came with a headband, and the entire process took 1:20
        Compete. Defend. Rebound. Win.

I saw several members of Luuk van Bree's family at the game including mom& dad - wonder if that might have
been a little inspiration for Luuk to have played so well & hope he keeps it up!

I had the chance to talk to Luuk's dad at both the Edgewood and St. Joseph's games. He is familiar with Bradleyfans.com, and checks it out regularly. He was visiting Peoria along with Luuk's mom and aunt.
