Indiana freshman O.G. Anunoby continues to shine in preseason scrimmages.
The 6-foot-8 forward from Jefferson City, Mo., and graduate transfer Max Bielfeldt were two of the new players who had notable performances in IU's Haunted Hall of Hoops scrimmage Saturday afternoon.
Bielfeldt, the 6-foot-8, 240-pound transfer from Michigan, had nine points and nine rebounds in Saturday's scrimmage while playing on the team opposite 6-foot-10 freshman center Thomas Bryant.
Bielfeldt had some good moments on the boards, hitting jump shots, moving the ball in an offensive flow and at times scoring inside.
"Max has really expanded his game from the time he's gotten here," Buckley said. "He's handled the ball more maybe than he had before. I think he's now understanding when to shoot it, when to kick it, how to set up other guys.
"I think he's a really good passer out of the post, and I think he's got really good poise in the post. I don't think he gets sped up. Where I think he gets in trouble sometimes is when he leaves his feet and doesn't know whether to shoot it or pass it."
Former ISU player Nick Zeisloft had 9 points.
