The Chicago Bulls confirmed today that they are considering starting a NBA D-League team in suburban Hoffman Estates.

The Bulls currently have an affiliation with the D-League's Iowa Energy team in Des Moines.

Currently, 11 of the 20 NBAD League teams are owned by NBA teams. The other 9 are independently owned and have working affiliations with NBA teams.
