I am not so sure we were still pursuing him...
based on a few things said last night at the Voice of the Braves event, some of the players we had been reported to have offered...things had changed and were not on our radar any more
our coaches will be at big AAU events this weekend in Indianapolis & Atlanta
the list keeps shrinking as players we've discussed commit elsewhere- Marlon Taylor, Amir Allen, Melkizidek Moreaux, Montgomery to CMU and a couple others
..now Illinois State is pursuing Damion Baugh but he's also getting bigger offers
Now Messiah Jones to Wofford
2018 (four open scholarships - two still remain open - one was taken by Brummett, one by Bile & another possibly taken by Boya)
Armon Brummett - COMMITTED on 1/23/2018 - here was the earliest mention of him - Armon Brummett
Chudier Bile COMMITTED on 4/17/18 - athletic juco forward with two years remaining
Aristide Boya - already COMMITTED - maybe will reclassify as 2018 (see under 2019)
Caleb Nero - OFFERED on 4/19/2018
Damien Baugh - Memphis PG OFFERED AND OFFERED
Emmanuel Umoffia - OFFERED 12/13/17
Brothers Tremell Murphy & Anthony Murphy - OFFERED - two really talented juco sophomores
Kaleb Thornton - Bolingbrook point guard - had a great run in IHSA Finals
DeAndre Heckard, Tray Jackson, Daishaun Woods, Robert Harvey, Angus Glover,
Bailey Dee - just visited Bradley on 8/9/2016
Hunter Strait, Hunter White, Tim Carter, LaTrayvion Jackson, Tyreese Davis, ShanQuan Hemphill,
Ja'Shon Henry, Mohamed Thiam, Christian Guess, Michael Wykoff, Shaun Williams, D. Rivny, Marcel HaskettLast edited by tornado; 04-27-2018, 08:17 PM.

What will we likely do then?
the signing period ends May 16, so yes, it is pretty likely we will save one scholarship until Boya is settled...I am anxious to see if we lock in on someone else this weekend
but as always, nobody really knows for sure - what we discuss is from an outside-looking-in perspective...

Originally posted by Da Coach View PostSo far, we have had names and info about every Bradley recruit well before anyone else reported them anywhere. That shows that our info and sources are pretty good. So I wanted to post some early info about another potential recruit.
There is a recruit for 2018 that is a bit atypical & way under the radar. I cannot find any recruiting site that even has his name in their database.
We won't post a name yet, because he is a virtual unknown, and maybe that works to Bradley's advantage.
He is a 6'8" skilled forward who is an outstanding shooter. He is a foreign kid who moved to the US and played his senior season at a tiny high school and went virtually unnoticed. But he recently played in a spring exposure event and things changed. Most of the coaches who attended the event were scouting players from 2019 & 2020, but this kid reportedly stood out. Our coaches have made contact, and we'll see what develops.
Here are few paraphrased () comments from several different bloggers who scouted the event-
> high level scorer...mid range jumper & 3-point shooting very impressive
> Big-time skills & athleticism
> one of the best seniors available
> ******** was the talk of the event
> impressed with his array of huge dunks & ability to shoot from three.
> athletic, but also has a good touch and can shoot from deep
> plays both fwd spots & should be recruited by lots of midmajor & high major schools.
> ...could turn into a hot prospect for many schools
And one blogger for a Power 5 conference team saw him and commented:
Our coaches saw him....and are expected visit him again soon.

2018 Ja'Shon Henry (also sometimes spelled Jashon Henry)- 6'5" wing player from Athol Murray College of Notre Dame prep school in the somewhat remote city of Saskatoon, in the province of Saskatchewan, Canada. He currently has an offer from St. Bonaventure.

Follow @NorthPoleHoops on Twitter, IG, FB - Canadian basketball LIVES Here - www.NorthPoleHoops.com-Jashon Henry is a 2018 6'5 wing out of Saskatoon, Saskatc...
Jashon Henry is one of several 2018 recruits that Bradley is still in contact with. He remains uncommitted since our previous post about him last November.
He went on to have a monster senior season and was named the Canadian National Preparatory Association’s Most Valuable Player, the top award for a prep player in Canada. He averaged 28.1 point, 7.1 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game contest. His 28.1 ppg scoring average was by far the highest average in all of Canada. He is now getting a lot more Division I interest.
He recently was invited to appear in a couple of Canadian prep All Star games, the Signature All-Canadian Showcase and the BioSteel All-Canadian games, along with all the top players in Canada. The Signature All-Canadian Showcase is a new event that held its inaugural event his month.
ESPN article-
Scouts are sure to be on hand to watch Duke commit R.J. Barrett and others in the inaugural Signature All-Canadian Showcase on April 23 now that the event has been certified by the NBA.
Jashon Henry was the first player from Saskatchewan to ever appear in either of the games.
Here are a couple more recent highlight videos since we made the initial post in November-
Jashon Henry has been a terror for opponents all season long; whether in season in the National Preparatory Association, or on Notre Dame's independent sched...

a former BU recruit Tray Jackson from Ypsilanti MI is headed to Sunrise Christian Academy in Wichita and will become a 2019 recruit
also- one other recruit Bradley was possibly interested...Dmitry Rivny, was a heavy lean towards Alabama (his only offer)..BUT....
suddenly he may be back on the market...as one of Alabama's seniors just got granted a redhsirt and will return in 2018-19,
thus using their final scholarships.
