A couple more new names have surfaced that Bradley has been in recruiting contact with-

2019 Josh Stevenson- a below-the-radar athletic 6'3" 2-guard from Olive Branch HS in Olive Branch, Mississippi, a suburb of Memphis. He plays on a very good team with several D1 caliber kids ahead of him, but he is starting to get more attention after a good summer.

2019 Antonio Thomas- a 6'2' point guard who played last season at Memphis Ridgeway High School in Memphis, Tennessee. In 2017-18 he will be playing at Memphis East High School for Head Coach Penny Hardaway. He has offers from Tennessee-Martin and SIUE, but after a good summer, he is getting interest from many other schools.

Another 2018 name to put on the list of players Bradley is following-
2018 6'4" shooting guard Javon Freeman of Chicago Whitney Young High School. Just recently, he seems to have changed his name to Javon Freeman-Liberty-

He has played well in the spring AAU events so far, and has started getting a lot of mid-major attention. He currently has offers from Valparaiso, Drake, Loyola, and Toledo, with 3 of the offers coming in the last few weeks. Valpo just offered yesterday.

Interestingly, he is the nephew of 1987 Illinois Mr. Basketball, and former Chicago King High School and University of Illinois star Marcus Liberty.
Marcus Liberty went on to a 4-year NBA career,followed by a long career playing professionally overseas.

unlike each of the past few years - next spring won't have 3 or 4 unexpected departures....
..so I think our staff thinks they may have just those two scholarships and are going to be pretty selective...

I think you can tell by who we've offered...
that we might be targeting an athletic forward and another guy with PG skills..

It has often been pointed out that almost every year at least one recruit transfers, possibly for more playing time or to be closer to home.

One new name to report that Bradley has been in contact with-

Darrell Riley- a 5'9" point guard who will play this season at Williston State College, a junior college in Williston, North Dakota. He played last season (2016-17) at Mississippi Valley State where he played 25.5 minutes per game, and averaged 9.0 ppg, 2.4 rpg, and 2.9 apg, and shot 43.5% from three.

He is originally from North High School in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where he lead the state of Wisconsin in scoring his senior season with 38.2 ppg (2014-15). He redshirted his first season at MVSU (2015-16).

by the 1st week of October last year (2016) we were overcommitted by TWO - so we knew two guys were leaving early
I doubt we will find BU overcommitted this year.

However, it would not be surprising if at least one of those might commit next spring.
