I know there isn't much for BU to get a kid excited about coming to the Hilltop for right now, but I do think Wardle is the right guy if we can get some players in here. From what I have heard we don't have any chance of getting Williams, but do you think we have any chance to get Youngman?

Our coaching staff keeps their recruiting plans a very closely guarded secret. I was hoping someone who knows the family might tell us if they are hearing from the Bradley coaches. As a fan, I'd sure like a shooter of the caliber of A.J.

look at Nate Kennell...he's grown up here in Central IL and wants to play at Bradley...
AJ spent much of his life growing up here in Illinois and visited Bradley very early on in the recruiting process.
AJ actually came to BU when he was in 8th grade - LINK

..and he was doing well in high school in Kentucky yet they family moved here to Central IL and I "have heard" they are very happy here.

I think we have a chance unless AJ blows way up and gets a lot of Big Ten offers...
AJ is currently a high school junior and isn't likely to make his college decision for another year or more - so if we make him the centerpiece of our 2017 recruiting class- we could get him.
Of course, having said that- I don't know how he & his family feel or how Coach Wardle feels....time will tell.
btw- the very same high level coaches that came to watch AJ in Kentucky also came to watch Dikembe Dixson - and yet Dixson landed at UIC.

-Da'Monte Williams - won't make a decision til at least spring...is a very high target of the Illini but offers from Kansas & Indiana and several others

-Jordan Goodwin - Scout now has him at #72 nationally in 2017, averaging 18 ppg/8 rpg, and Althoff is 12-2. They think he was down to Illinois, Purdue, & Mizzou but that may change.

-Jeremiah Tilmon (5-Star) not even taking visits til fall

-Javon Pickett, Belleville East, Illinois & Northwestern offers...but oddly Pickett is unranked by Scout

-Nojel Eastern, Evanston, had a bad ankle injury and had been out since last spring..but playing well and has Evanston at 12-2 - interest should pick up and both Ohio State & Duke sent staff to watch him recently.

-Christian Negron, still at 3-Star, visited Butler & Iowa, but Illinois was 1st to offer.

-Daniel Soetan (Class of 2016) had visited Bradley and supposedly was offered...
but his production has fallen off and he's not putting up the numbers he was early in the season. There were mentions that he's getting interest from several schools - South Dakota State, Valpo, and got an offer from Chicago State. I think BU has backed off.

-Godwin Boahen - point guard at Hill Academy where Marquell Fraser was - he has become the team leader and is getting a lot of interest - rated the top prep point guard in Canada.
BTW- since Fraser verballed to VCU, his production has dropped quite a bit. He has not been among the team's top scorers in any game I have been able to find since way before Christmas.
Fraser may be injured - based on a few comments he's made about "going thru adversity".

Lindy Waters - now transferred to Sunrise Christian just outside of Wichita...

Now former BU recruit Lindy Waters has transferred once again - his 3rd high school since the fall...
In the interval he has now committed to Oklahoma State but his transfers has to do with getting expelled..

He has left Sunrise and is at Norman (OK) North High School and has been cleared to play - but only at the JV level since he's a mid-season transfer......
By March, in the 2nd game of their Regional, he will be fully cleared
