I met him today along with about 80 other young Bradley fans who had a great time at Coach Wardle's camp.
It is possible he may play little or none at all given that one of the coaches said that all the freshmen need as many reps and as much time as they can possibly get for their development...but he's there to help the team with practices, scrimmages, acting as the scout team and to fill in if our roster gets short.
We have only 12 scholarship players due to the late departure of Warren Jones, and one of them is not eligible to play this season (Alex Foster- transfer from Texas Tech).
Then if a couple players get hurt - we'd barely be able to go 5-on-5 in practice without the help of a couple walk-ons - so it is nice to have him.

Also - talked with one of the assistants who commented that he & the other coaches were blown away by the crowd of fans & season ticket holders that were at the Fan Appreciation Luncheon/Reception this past Monday. They commented that the fans that were there were incredibly tuned into this program and all the history of Bradley basketball and the coaching staff was so impressed with this - they were pleasantly surprised by how great our fan base is and how supportive they are of this team...
and yet there are several more such events coming up!
...and one more thing - I also spoke to a few other Bradley fans/season ticket holders who were there with their kids - and they also were really excited to see the season start - amazing how upbeat and energetic the fanbase is...
...and what's up with the Bradley fanbase tonight???...It's 11pm on a Sunday and there's 150 people online at BradleyFans - haven't seen this kind of interest in all-things Bradley for several years....the recent changes/hirings have truly made an enormous difference in the eyes and minds of a ton of fans...

One last thing- Bradley has also filled one other 'assistant coaching spot'....they have hired a Video Coordinator and I met him today helping with Coach Wardle's clinic..
but since the University has not yet made any public announcement of this hiring - I will leave it at that and let the Athletic Dept. put out the release when they are ready to.

I guess we never did complete this train of thought- but the assistant that was hired as the basketball video coordinator and assistant is
          Zach Larson...
