The Bradley Men's Golf Team was in action at the Zach Johnson Invitational in Des Moines, Iowa and the Braves had their best tournament of the season, shooting rounds of 294, 297 and 290 for a 54 hole total of 881, 7 shots in back of UNI. Freshman Drake Bushong of Pekin led the way as he won the invitational by 3 shots, shooting scores of 69, 73 and 70 for a 54 hole total of 1 under 212, just 2 shots off the all time BU record. 2 other Braves finished in the top 15 as Senior Lyle Burns finished 6th with a 218 and Senior Garrett Cox finished 15th with a 222. In his first 3 starts as a Braves Drake has finished 2nd, 10th and now 1st. Their last tournament of the fall is the Austin Peay Invitational on October 19 and 20.
