  • Kendahl Amerson transfers to....

Bradley guard Kendahl Amerson, who was a Geno Ford recruit from juco but did not play last year...

will transfer to Central Oklahoma University (Edmond, OK) ...a DII school where he should be eligible right away...
(if academics are in order) and should have TWO years of eligibility remaining as he spent two seasons at juco.
    Good luck Kendall

Page Not Found (404): It looks like you're lost... The page you are looking for no longer exists.

One of his teammates Jarred Bairstow is the brother of Chicago Bulls' forward Cameron Bairstow
Kendahl's head coach at COU is Tom Hankins, recently departed SIU assistant coach

I would expect Warren Jones or Tramique Sutherland to aim DII also and not sit out a year - but haven't heard a thing yet.

Kendahl Amerson played for University of Central Oklahoma (Division II) in an exhibition game last Wednesday. He played 16 minutes off the bench, and had 9 points. He was 3-7 from the field, 2-5 from three, 1 rebound, 2 assists, 3 turnovers, and 4 fouls. Not bad for his first competition in nearly 2 years.

four fouls in just 16 minutes?
..also - from the play-by-play it appears he must be their designated 3-pt sniper...
He entered the game a few minutes in...and shot FOUR 3-pt attempts in the next five possessions - over the next 3.5 minutes (at 16:12, 15:23, 13:16, 12:37) - then got taken out.
He re-entered the game again at 7:56 then again took the shot on each of the next 3 possessions in rapid fire over the next 1/2 minute (7:23. 7:06, 6:47) the removed at the next clock stoppage (6:06)
In the 2nd half he didn't play as much because of the fouls - but was active with a couple steals and shot 2 FT.

anyway - Kentucky Wesleyan had their Purple & White intrasquad scrimmage last night...
and BU transfer Jermaine Morgan has been penciled in by some as their starting big man, yet he was not present at all at the event and thus did play - causing some of their people to speculate on possible academic issues.
