one of our assistants is in Canada to watch Godwin Boahen - a highly ranked PG - 6-0, Class of 2016...and a friend of Marquell Fraser - and also on the ranking list I previously posted

He was previously in high school at St. Louis Christian Academy in Toronto..(avg 10 ppg/6 apg)
but is now at a new school - Hill Academy in Brantford, Ontario
Niagara was also in and offered, and it wouldn't be surprising if BU offers as well.

More new names...

Our staff just went to Iowa to check on kids at Quakerdale Prep (Quakerdale Academy), same prep school ISU's Deontae Hawkins spent some time at.

Here is their roster - got some size- all the players are Class of 2016..
..a couple of them averaged 20-26 ppg in high school.

They begin playing games in just a week - Oct. 3 in Cedar Rapids.

we backed off Godwin Boahen who played with Marquell Fraser...when we landed Darrell Brown...

but Boahen landed at UIC - where he just posted the very first TRIPLE DOUBLE in their entire history...

He is their starting PG, averages 9.2 ppg, 3.8 rpg,
44.4% on 3-pointers and 3.7 asst/gm, 70.3% FT
and is 6th in league in A/T Ratio 2.0

every single one of those numbers would place Boahen as #1, #2 or #3 on Bradley's squad except the rebounds - but it's twice what anyone playing PG for Bradley is averaging on rebs

He might turn out to be a very good PG....

Just two months after one of UIC's freshman posted the first triple double in their entire history..
another of their freshmen is close to doing it again...
Tarkus Ferguson - with almost 7 minutes to go vs. Northern KY
has 18 pts, 9 rebounds, and 7 assists...(he also has 4 steals)

They do have some good young players (like we do) but they are still struggling in the Horizon...
Ferguson is averaging 11 ppg & almost 5 assists - but tonight Boahen is sitting out with a knee injury hoping to get back for their tourney


update, UIC loses to NKU committing some bad fouls down the stretch..

but UIC's Tarkus Ferguson ended with 22 pts, 10 rebs, 7 asst, 4 steals
