The one thing that Miller has to his advantage is that he doesn't have to grow into his body to play at the next level because he's a pure Pg. A 6' 3 Pg in the league is decent size, not great but decent especially if you got handles and speed in the open court both that Miller already has. I will add that I've watched many 8th graders play ball since 1981 and I've never said any of them would sniff the NBA other then Nathan, so in over 35 years Miller is the second 8th grader that I predict will make it to the league.
I had a chance at the IHSA Tournament Experience to see Miller play. It was with Geno Ford's son and I was actually announcing the game and couldn't believe how good he was. He was always trying to get the ball to his teammates but he could score whenever he wanted. Many times he would rebound the ball and still be the first one down the floor and then wait until a teammate who hadn't scored in a while came down and then would feed the ball to him so he could score.
He was very unselfish and, seemed, very humble.
I told Coach Ford afterwards you better be recruiting him and he said I am. He said he was one of the best he had seen at that age.

This move does not surprise me one bit but as it got closer to school starting I was beginning to think it wasn't going to happen. Heard late last Spring this was a possibility . My sources told me Mother wanted to move up there for reason I don't know. His grandparents didn't want him to leave but it looks like they lost that battle. Nick is getting himself a really really good player.

And Bradley Head Coach Brian Wardle was the first to offer Miller a scholarship in December, 2016-

Since then, Adam Miller left Manual High School and transferred to Chicago Morgan Park HS, and has risen to become one of the top recruits in the 2020 class. Miller has had offers from many of the top programs in the country, and no longer is considering Bradley.
A little over a month ago, he announced his 6 finalists- Arizona, Arizona State, Illinois, Louisville, Kansas and Wake Forest.

And today, Adam Miller has cut his finalists to 3 (Illinois, Louisville, and Arizona), and tweets that he will make his final decision on November 21-

I think Illinois has a good shot, but we'll see.

One time Bradley recruit Adam Miller, who played at Manual HS before transferring to Chicago Morgan Park HS, and who received his first offer from Bradley coach Wardle, will finally announce his college choice tonight at 7 pm. He reportedly will choose between Arizona, Louisville, and Illinois.

Strange that he waited until the first day past the deadline of the early NLI signing period to make his verbal commitment.
Great for Illinois, but since he didn't sign that NLI, his commitment isn't secured, and he can still be recruited by schools that we know have been linked to cheating scandals like Arizona, Louisville, and others.

Miller can play in the Missouri Valley right now and average double figures
I remembered and wanted to resurrect this old thread from before Adam Miller even played a single minute of high school basketball,
and some were making really lofty predictions.
Go back and read, that even as an 8th grader, he was good enough to start or average double figures in the MVC.
That he'd go to Kentucky or UNC and be one-and-done or go straight to the NBA, etc.
Well, fast forward four and a half years now and once again, we see how premature those predictions were. He is a very good player and currently could start for a lot of college teams and might develop into a big time scorer, but he will NOT average double digits as a freshman. His playing time has been shrinking as it is becoming apparent that he is not the scoring threat that some claimed. If you watched today's game vs IU, he went 0-4, scoreless without even a single assist or rebound. But then, so did highly touted Anthony Leal, and we know now how Austin, Jr & Peyton Allen turned out - low DI and DII. So predictions of guys when they are in 8th grade can definitely be risky.
