Highly unusual time but the AD Mike Thomas must have thought something in their "preliminary" reports about player abuse was worth it to fire Beckman
lots of rumors that the AD may go, thus they would have the extremely unusual trifecta of needing a President (Chancellor), an AD, and a head coach all at once...
now they are going to face major lawsuits as they claim they are firing Beckman with cause - thus trying to get out of paying him the $3.1 million that they currently own him on his contract...
...one of the current assistants (Bill Cubit) has been elevated to interim head coach...
BUT - does this not also strongly hint that if player abuse was that severe & widespread - enough to fire the head coach with years left on his contract - at this point in time...
then surely ALL the assistants and the AD as well as trainers/etc....all had to know about it if not participate in it...
SHOULD THEY NOT ALL BE FIRED????
one more thing - BEFORE any official word that Beckman was fired - MULTIPLE sources including ESPN & FoxSports were reporting the firing...
Doesn't that mean the PJS should be outraged and demand that they "take down" their reports because "people's lives are involved here"?
