Not to nit pick, but it's specific to the student fan experience.

But I have heard there will be some new activities and events this year geared toward fans other than students, especially younger fans like face painting for kids, members of the team available after games for autographs, etc.

BTW, Bradley Athletics has posted a couple new YouTube videos about summer workouts for the players, and community service participation- (sorry, didn't see these were already posted)

Yep. These are definitely all true. I know that Coach Wardle talked about these things on WMBD earlier this week.

But this definitely signals a whole new era - an era where we seem to have a GOOD rather than a terrible relationship with the Civic Center...

this -- plus ALL our home games & exhibitions being scheduled at the Civic Center is a stark difference from just a year or two ago...LINK - LINK - LINK

Recall the attitude where we were told it was really, really hard to deal with the Civic Center people and that we have to start putting games at Ren-Col because we couldn't get the dates we wanted - and the claim that the Civic Center people wouldn't return the AD's calls when the PCC people said that they hadn't received a call from our AD or anyone at Bradley in years...

Plus the claims - even by our media people that we still had a really strong schedule despite having Eureka, UT-A, NC A&T, etc...

In the end - we still had the worst RPI in the Valley teamed with a SOS well over 100 (where it's been since the end of the JL era) - helping drop the entire MVC's RPI to the lowest it's been since the 1990's

Remember - we had RPI's from the 30's 100 or so most of the previous decade - and our strength of schedule was as high as #21 but virtually always TOP 100 in the KK years.

I anxiously await a return to this level...and curious how we were able to get such a strong schedule this year with BCS teams on our own home court - even tho the guys that came in this past spring had only weeks to accomplish it!!!

Well let's hope this administration doesn't believe that it's a great idea to play D3's like Eureka and claim it does great things for our RPI and creates a championship program!

Even Kirk Wessler tried vainly to convince whoever was stupid enough to believe that playing Eureka was a good thing-

But what was most offensive to the Bradley fans I heard from was this condescending attitude from our previous AD who basically lectured fans who he believed were too ignorant to see that playing Eureka was good for the program and would lead to championships.

They labelled anyone who disagreed with the philosphy of scheduling softies & DIII's
              as an UNEDUCATED fan
Bradley men’s basketball coach Geno Ford recently described those who were negative about the inclusion of Division III Eureka College on this year’s schedule as “uneducated.” Ford also joined Athl…

PEORIA — The year was 1937, and Bradley’s Famous Five was not yet famous. But the Braves’ strong nucleus of freshmen was good enough to double the team’s scoring average in a 70-26 thrashing of Eur…

              then there was this statement:
