it is pretty much apples vs. oranges - just someone's rather arbitrary appearing maps...
they have Clay Co. Illinois - only 50 miles from the Indiana State line and far, far closer to both Evansville & Terre Haute - but it's in St. Louis' area - over 2 hours drive away by interstate.
And Champaign, Springfield, Jacksonville, Decatur, Danville and even Warren Co./Covington/Lebanon, Indiana all have their own press & even their own TV markets but they have them all clumped together somewhat arbitrarily...so be it...
This is the same argument we used to see as to why Bureau County & Galesburg ARE in the PJS area while Lincoln and any city east of Eureka are NOT.
Nobody ever really could explain the logic.
Getting back to the actual population that any media broadcast would reach - Bradley's market is 2nd, 3rd, or 4th in size in the MVC depending if you want to count Loyola since Loyola really doesn't have any media coverage dedicated to the Ramblers...Do they even have a guy designated as their "beat reporter"?
