Barry Hinson hires new assistant

Barry Hinson has hired Brad Autry as an assistant. He most recently worked as an assistant at Hawaii this past year, but spent 6 years working under Buzz Williams at Marquette before that.

It probably wasn't that hard to lure him away from Hawaii, since he was unemployed. Autry lost his job at Hawaii when interim head coach Benjy Taylor was not retained. Taylor was an interim head coach after Gib Arnold was fired over NCAA violations just before last season started.
