  • Recruiting update- Final 2015 scholarship

After signing 8 new scholarship players- 7 freshmen-
    6'6" Guard Ronnie Suggs
    6'3" Guard Dwayne Lautier-Ogunleye
    5'11" Guard Joel Okafor
    6'3" Guard Antoine Pittman
    6'10" Forward Davante Cooper
    6'8" Forward Scottie James
    6'8" Forward Luuk Van Bree
    And 1 transfer-
    6'8" Forward Alex Foster

...to go with the 4 holdover scholarship players (Shaw, Jones, Bell, and Thomas), Bradley has 1 scholarship still available for this recruiting year.

I had a chance to speak with Coach Wardle yesterday (Thurs 6/4), and he definitely intends to try to use that remaining scholarship to sign one more player, rather than bank it for next year. He is looking at a couple of pretty good big men for that final scholarship. There will be one or more additional visits that happen this month, and Coach Wardle feels pretty good that he can land his top choice.

Unless it's someone from a foreign country, how many "good" big men are readily available, during the first week of June?

again - super-impressed with Coach Wardle getting it done....
...just as he had predicted he brought a kid to campus from >10,000 miles away - and knew he was going to land him - and he DID just that.
I am super impressed...and Peoria doesn't even have an OUTBACK STEAKHOUSE anymore!
