Don't care what they were, they turned the program around to the satisfaction of most BU fans.
What part of illegal don't you understand?

For those who haven't seen Dave Snell's great video tribute to Bradley's past stars, it is worth watching.
          Go here-

then click "News and Features" across the top tabs, then click on the "Bradley Basketball History Video" link on the right side of the screen.

Nice video. Looks like they tapped into the WMBD vaults, because from what I hear BU has nothing when it comes to old games. Either WMBD or the games I have transferred for several fans have found there way home. Good.

I have always heard that they were BIG SUPPORTERS of Versace's teams.

IMO, DV's teams had a lot of big supporters. Didn't hurt to have BIG SUPPORTERS also.

NCAA rules were much looser then. Boosters could legally be involved in recruiting kids, but they couldn't give them money or gifts. So surely that is not what you are implying....

I'm sure that NONE of the stories I've heard have any truth to them at all.

just saw this comment - making Bradley's situation even more striking - where we had about 8,000 season tickets sold a few years ago but that it's down under 5000 now...

but as good as Northern Iowa has been - they have only 2300 in season ticket sales

their home attendance avg. of about 5200 wasn't far from what Bradley "announced" (about 5700) but it was definitely more butts in seats

So, where does UNI Athletic Dept get revenue to run their successful MBB program? Smaller Arena with smaller on campus costs? More donations from alumni and local business?
