if I had to take a guess - - most of the Athletic staff has been really tied up with Conference Championships (track, baseball...)
they also have not yet put out any info or release on Luuk van Bree even tho he could readily sign and fax...

The signing period ends today.

Saw where both Scottie James and Luuk van Bree were listed as members of Bradley's basketball team. Both were listed as roster players at BradleyBraves. com. Not sure if that was what you were talking about pfcmsh.

Scottie's NLI had not been verified before I left for the MVC Baseball Championship in Wichita and some of the recruits were not NLI signees, which invokes different procedures before they can be publicly discussed. All the paper work is complete for all of the players previously reported upon and Dave Reynolds had a chance to catch up with Coach Wardle today for a recruiting wrap-up. Look for it Friday.

Wish we could start to play, so we know how it all will go down. I am optimistic, but I didn't follow the rise and all the excitement surrounding Coach Ford. I was pretty disappointed that Jim Les had been let go, but then again, I am not as knowledgeable as all of you fellows.

I'm real glad we got Scottie James. I think this kid has a huge upside if we get to keep him for 4 years. We recruited players from a lot of different states and countries, and sometimes they do get homesick. They are just kids. How many times do we hear "Want to get closer to home" when players transfer. Really love this recruiting class and i just hope we get to watch ALL of them have successful carriers at Bradley. You think all the players will enroll in summer classes and be on campus June 8th?
