    The June 2nd Luncheon

I plan to travel to attend the June 2nd luncheon. I called for tickets yesterday and was told they are not printed yet, but I put in an order. I am sure that some of you will be attending. You all know each other, perhaps? It would be nice to meet some of you guys.

      Trdition Plays in Peoria....

Really looking forward to the June 2 lunch. These kind of events will most certainly energize the Bradley fan base. Ken Goldins involvement is super. I also hope Bradley will schedule some fan bus trips next season to road games. These events plus a really good preseason spaghetti/chicken dinner and a Red & White scrimmage will go a long way toward increasing game attendance back to what it used to be. Bobby and Brett, keep up the good work!!

Due to high ticket demand that will exceed on-campus capacity, we are moving the Tradition Plays in Peoria June 2 welcome luncheon for Dr. Reynolds and Coach Wardle to the Peoria Civic Center ballroom. Still time to get tickets for the event!

PEORIA, Ill. - With ticket demand for the "Tradition Plays in Peoria" luncheon swelling toward 1,000, the June 2 event is being moved to the Peoria Civic Center ballroom.

I heard a couple weeks ago that Bradley was already beginning to consider this move, since the ticket sales were way ahead of projection. Looks like they are continuing to sell. Great news!

Now that this event is moved to the Civic Center...
it opens up a LOT more availability for people to buy tickets and get to the event...

so...just wanted to bump this thread back to the top and encourage people to get tickets and be there!!!

Jackie said last week they should be out about a week before the event

My tickets arrived in the mail yesterday, although there was an unfortunate misprint.

Yes, the typo states Friday, June 2. It should be Tuesday. Someone at Bradley will have to telephone all the people who purchased tickets to let them know the proper day.
