Max has won his appeal with Big 10 to transfer immediately to another Big 10 school.....

Then despite his previous lists, I have to suspect he is considering Illinois now.

        Max Bielfeldt..

I can't believe that Max would go to another Big 10 school and play against Michigan! This just reinforces my previously stated opinion that he is trying to prove something to himself and others. From being primarily a bench sitter at Michigan where he wasn't even kept on scholarship his last year to this!

            Adieux, Mad Max.

Would have loved to seen you
            help the Braves.

Good luck with any other dreams you
            want to chase.

but Max would provide the 1-year we need 'til Foster is eligible and Cooper gets experience and builds some muscle..
would still love to have him...hope he doesn't choose unwisely and get more splinters

I don't know why Max would wan to come to a rebuilding project in his final year.

                    that's the decision ...
but is DePaul gonna be any better or less of a rebuilding project??

Only Iowa State of his options looks to be a solid NCAA-caliber team but then he might ride the bench there

somehow the "recruiting process" with the frenzy of desperate coaches all swarming and descending on Max wooing him, making promises, and telling him how valuable he is...
MUST be appealing and enjoyable because Max is riding it for all it's worth....
Surely he has to know if he waits too long schools will fill their scholarships and his options then shrink..

If it's 30-35 minutes/game of fun playing time in front of family & friends then pick Bradley...
if he loves doing what he's done for 4 years - just sit on the end of the bench while his teammates are having a great time or being on an even worse team like DePaul who play sometimes in front of a 2/3 empty arena then pick elsewhere...

obvious now that Max's plan to get approval to contact other Big Ten schools - is explained by this...
Now Max is checking out Nebraska...
...will be talking with coach Molinari - he & Tim Miles are great guys so I think Max will have Nebraska high on his list

"...Michigan graduate senior power forward transfer Max Bielfeldt,
who is immediately eligible next season, is in Lincoln for an official visit.

Michigan senior power forward transfer Max Bielfeldt is in Lincoln on an official visit this week.
Bielfeldt was seen arriving at the Lincoln airport on Wednesday morning on a flight from Chicago
and was greeted by NU assistants Jim Molinari and Kenya Hunter.

Bielfeldt emerged on the Huskers' radar earlier this week when it was announced he had been granted
an appeal to transfer to another Big Ten school after receiving his release from Michigan.

The 6-foot-8, 245-pound native of Peoria, Ill., played in 69 career games with the Wolverines from 2013-15,
and he earned Michigan's "Sixth Man Award" last season after averaging 5.1 points and 3.6 rebounds in 14.5 minutes per game
off the bench, all of which were career highs.

Though he considered staying at Michigan as a walk-on for his final season of eligibility, Bielfeldt and the Wolverines
officially parted ways and he set his sights on finding a fresh start elsewhere. He's already visited Iowa State and DePaul,
and other schools like Kansas State were also reportedly in the mix at one point.

It was also widely assumed that Illinois might emerge as a frontrunner after Bielfeldt received his waiver to transfer
within the Big Ten, which makes sense considering he's an Illinois native and his family has extremely strong ties to the Fighting Illini.
Illinois' athletic administration building is named the Bielfeldt Athletic Administration Building.

But one thing Nebraska has that most others like Illinois don't is a blatant need for an immediate impact big man. .."

                          Max Bielfeldt

IMO this is really sad. After a "H0-Hum" career at Michigan being topped of with their denying him a scholarship for his last year, Max continues to flail around trying to prove his worth to himself and possible others as a player at a high Div. 1 level. Enrolling in another Big 10 school gives him the opportunity to prove himself against Michigan. The "Max Follies" go on and on and could have been totally avoided had he declared for Bradley.

Have to mostly agree with you. IMO, Max didn't have that great of a career at Michigan and also IMO, the MVC and Bradley would be a better fit for his abilities than the Big 10.
What part of illegal don't you understand?

                              Time to move on folks.

                              Not worth wishing/hoping/agonizing/scrutinizing etc.

If he wanted to go to BU, would have declared a long time ago.
Don't want BU to be his last choice....

His calves are really annoying. Who wants to see those every game for a year? More like cantaloupes, really.
