so while I don't necessarily care if posts were deleted or not. I also doubt this message board software would not truncate and replace post numbers if posts were deleted. I.e. if this is post 31 and it's deleted, the post after this would become the de facto 31.
hey and actually I can test that. So this is post 32...wonder what happens when 31 goes away.
EDIT...well there ya have it folks...31 goes away, and this becomes de facto 31. therefore the number in the top right hand corner, scales to the post.

Well thanks for clearing that up. I stand corrected. But it is irrelevant to this discussion. There have been no deletions, and still not a single poster has suggested that Max owes anything to Bradley. I always love it when someone can't admit they were wrong and lowers himself to the bogus claim that a "bunch of posts must have been deleted".

Irrelevant to the discussion or not. Figured you might want a heads up moving forward. So Max, there ya go, if ya want a degree in BIS, go to Bradley, it's paid off for one of us!

there's a report that Max will visit DePaul today and has narrowed his list to six or seven - BU, ISU, Iowa State, DePaul, Boston College, Kansas State, and Stanford
some sources do not list Illinois State
Thank God Max has "narrowed" his list to six or seven schools. One might think he's the second coming of Michael Jordan or dwayne Wade instead of a
deep bench- sitting substitute whose school would not even renew his scholarship.
Wiz
wiz- you have perceived a whole new phenomenon that is emerging....and I expect it'll get worse and more & more kids will remain uncommitted until late in spring to take advantage of this feeding frenzy we currently see.
Every spring even the obscure or marginally talented kids create an amazing and even inexplicable frenzy caused by schools who have open scholarships (maybe they have players leaving or guys going to the NBA) - and it's getting late in the cycle and teams feel the desperation to FILL those scholarships and the kids who are available that late sense how hard those schools are coming after them -
thus they enjoy being treated like a hot commodity - it's their 15 minutes of fame - and some of them play it for all it's worth...
I could narrow that list down to one school where Max would a) make the most impact and b) be welcomed with the most excitement. Maybe he's not Wade or Jordan's second coming, but if Max chooses a second coming to his hometown, he will make many, many people happy.
I wish him well on his choice. And if choosing gets too difficult, Max, I volunteer to make it for you!

@hoijim Max Bielfeldt is visiting DePaul today--tells me his current list is DePaul, Iowa State, Stanford, Kansas State, Boston College and Bradley
Bielfeldt is currently looking at Iowa State, Boston College, DePaul and Stanford.
-Max has not made his decision but will decide "soon" and hints at within a week or two
-Max hasn't talked with coach Beilein about the open scholarship that is still available at Michigan - so he still might return to play there
-Max talks a lot about his Iowa State visit - doesn't seem to know they treat every transfer in the US that way
-and although you can never believe what these writers say because they intentionally leave Bradley out all the time (like they did with Matt Roth)...
Max lists his schools and DOES NOT mention Bradley (or ISU) "the Michigan senior forward continues to weigh all his options.
..I've just been looking to see what else is out there."
"Right now, Bielfeldt's looking at Iowa State, DePaul, Boston College and Stanford."
The Michigan assistant coach Bacari Alexander said... "..the team is preparing for both Donnal and Wilson to compete for the backup center spot behind Doyle, the team's presumed starter."
..but given the circumstances, I am willing to presume Max has Bradley low on his list - seems really into this 6th man-sitting the bench thing.
Good luck to him - would have been interesting given how much great press and praises everyone threw Seth Tuttle's way - and how much playing time he got and how it helped his lifetime pro opportunities to have played in the MVC - that Max could have had a chance for same but doesn't see it.
I hear little has changed, and Bradley is still on his list. We've seen before where writers for newspapers and recruiting sites just ignore mid-major schools when listing a kid's choices. It happened many times with Josh Cunningham, and he ended up picking Bradley.
Iowa State still sitting on a couple unfilled scholarships - making a play for Max..
but this article hints he'd have a hard time breaking into their lineup and might just be a fall-back plan..
