I don't think Max is trying to portray himself as an all-American or blue chipper. I believe he just wants to go to a school that will be in the NCAA tournament. I really don't think he is so concerned about playing 35-40 minutes a game.
That leaves Nebraska out. Both ISU and IU are projected top 20 teams next year.
Don't know how this might affect their interest in Max, but Nebraska is hosting 7-foot Providence transfer Paschal Chukwu today (Mon. 6/1). He was just a freshman, so he'd take up a scholarship and have to sit out a year, but then would have 3 years left. He is also visiting Kansas Wed. 6/3.
Just a followup on former Bradley recruit Max Bielfeldt
After four years at Michigan and a degree in SPORTS MANAGEMENT, then another year and a half at Indiana finishing up on a Masters Degree in Strategic (Business) Management this fall at Indiana's Kelley School of Business...
Max has chosen not to pursue any basketball options and will pursue instead a business career - hopefully at either Michigan or Indiana Universities in their Athletics Dept.
His IU teammate, ex-ISU Redbird Nick Zeisoft is still working on trying to catch on with some team overseas to play professionally.
