SIUE gets 6'11" transfer from College of Charleston

College of Charleston sophomore center Glen Pierre, Jr. is transferring to Southern Illnois. He is 6'11", 230 pounds. He is originally from Orlando, Florida. He didn't play much, only a total of 14 minutes in 9 games as a freshman. This season, as a sophomore, he played in 32 of 33 games, 8.8 mpg, shot 34%, and averaged 1.2 ppg and 1.8 rpg.

To clarify, I believe he is going to siu-e, not siu-c.

Harris hired former SIU player Kent Williams as an assistant on Monday, but that is the only hiring so far.
