Nate Navigato now has Bradley among his final two or three options per a couple sources out of Chicago..

..anticipate that he might be visiting soon...

when Navigato committed last fall he was fairly obscure, but after leading his team downstate in March against some of the top competition in the State - his stock has increased.

He is 1st Team All State

he could be for us what Alec Peters would have been ...

The Chicago Tribune has a new article with an interview with Nate Navigato about his recruitment, as well as a couple other recruits-

Geneva senior Nate Navigato has become a hot commodity late in the spring for colleges looking for a skilled inside-outside player. Last week, the 6-7 forward was released from the national letter of intent he signed with Buffalo in November. Navigato quickly received offers from Bradley, Illinois-Chicago, Toledo and American. He visited Bradley on Thursday.

"My Bradley visit went well, and it was real cool," Navigato said. "I??™m going to go over my offers and make other visits, but I??™m not sure when. I??™m back to square one with my recruiting. It??™s been really stressful, especially for my parents. I think I??™ll think about it for the next couple of days or week and see what happens and make a decision then."

Glad he is still talking about Bradley. I really wish we could of signed him on his unofficial visit. That's the time to sign them. Its like a door to door salesman not closing the deal. He will never get a call back for a sale. Hope Coach Wardle , Coach Foster,Adams, somebody is sitting in his driveway with a LOI and pen.

Since he has become such a hot commodity are there must be some other schools recruiting him other than UIC, American and Toledo. Does anyone know who they may be?

Nate Navigato visited made an unofficial visit to Toledo on Tuesday (4/28 ), and Head Coach Tod Kowalczyk reaffirmed his scholarship offer. However, Nate returned home, and did not commit. So he appears to be making all his planned visits before making a decision, and that bodes better for Bradley, IMO.

Bodes well only because he did not sign. Now 2 other schools get to make their pitch and try to get him to sign. So he has to visit America and UIC yet?. It would seem that none of the other schools are comparable to Bradley and to playing in the MVC. Of the 4 schools involved i think it would be a no-brain. I know UIC got Torres signed and we were after him also. I hope we get this one from them. Does anyone know if Nate is playing AAU ball, a lot of players like to wait and see. Hope that is not the case here. Come to Bradley Nate!

A big wing player who can shoot is still a high priority for Coach Wardle.

Hey, who wouldn't want to live and go to school in Washington, DC, and play for a below average Patriot League team?
