As we've known for a couple weeks, and as many members learned through some Private Messages, Nate was leaning toward transferring to Ball State, and today he officially committed to Ball State head coach James Whitford to play for the BSU Cardinals of the MAC next season .
Nate's primary intent was to find a school where he could pursue his interest and work toward a Master's degree in mass communications and public relations, which Bradley does not offer. He discussed it with Coach Ford, and then with Coach Wardle. Nate's dad told me that Nate would have loved to play for Coach Wardle, but the education was the foremost concern for Nate and his family. Nate met with the Ball State coaches a couple weeks ago, and eventually felt it was the best place for him. He also had interest from a few other schools, including South Dakota, Eastern Michigan, NIU, Fairfield, and Tennessee Tech.
Ball State coaches-
Ball State lacked height last season, so Nate should be a valuable player for them.
Here is their 2014-15 roster-
Here is their record and stats from this past season-
And they finished at the bottom of the MAC last season, but their top players were all freshmen and sophomores, so they will be better next season.-
Good luck Nate!
