New AAU team out of Peoria- Peoria Irish

I came across a website for a relatively new AAU basketball program based in Peoria. Has anyone else heard of them or know anything about them? 2006 was their first year.

Looks like it is backed by Peoria attorney Jim Rochford. He's a good guy who has dedicated a lot of time and money to youth sports. He is also the head coach. They have 4 teams, 12u, 13u, 14u, and 15u. Jim Les son plays for them.

new AAU teams spring up all the time, if players dont make one team, often times there parents will start their own, or if a group of kids from an area can put together a team closer to home rather than traveling for practice, poof, a new team appears.
