    Brace for more bad news

A normal rotation in games is 8 or 9 guys. However, you need at least 10 for good practices and even more to fill in for injuries. Three or four new recruits who are good players and 3 good walk-ons would do the trick for next year, IMO.

Wiz, it depends on how may more players are going to leave the team.

If this is considered "just sitting out" next season, I am in favor of it.

This leaves us with the ability to build for the future without getting locked into (scholarship) players we may not want in 2 years 'cause we can recruit and replace them with better ones. No hurt feelings. Walk-ons can continue to practice and maybe make the team in the end.

The pressure is not on for NEXT SEASON to show change. Next season is only the beginning in the longer and slower process of making Bradley a successful program every year.
Can I get an AMEN?!!!!! Awesome post, pilgrim!

Well I get it when some say we really aren't losing very much - sorta saying that since the cupboard was so empty to begin with that there was really nothing to lose...

but here's how all the "experts" will see it this coming fall when they select their preseason picks...

They will say that we were a really lousy 10th place team, that could not win even when we were fully healthy
and had everyone 100% available...and that due to player defections we lose ....
-our only effective point guard who logged 36.2 minutes per game - 2nd most in the entire conference
-our only TWO reliable scorers (Jones returns but was extremely inconsistent)
-all three of the guys who pretty much combined as our main low post players (Morgan, XT, Wells)
          -our best rebounder
-the guy who made the most 3-pointers
          -best FT shooter
-and 7 of our top 10 players

Is there any doubt we will be picked 10th again this coming season - thus the 2016 MVC Coach of the Year Award is Brian Wardle's for the taking if he does a great job with what he has.
