it was a little sarcasm, lefty...

of course it's not the first time but a lot of BU fans have been pretty bummed over the past 4-5 years - just look at the 5000+ seats that used to be filled every game but now never are.....

        Another great move by Coach.
This guy is HIGH ENERGY all the way. When he said he would meet w/ anyone anywhere he wasn't kidding.
Heard he is at area HS open gyms every week. We might see a lot of local kids playing at BU very soon if he keeps this up.

Here is evidence we can get better student involvement- Student involvement at soccer games in the past has been great, and now we have the Shea Brigade - a new student group formed to support the BU soccer team.
Looks like it's going to be a great student vehicle for support of the team. Let's hope some of that energy can spill over to the Red Sea-
PEORIA, Ill. - Bradley soccer fans young and old, past and present are invited to be a part of Bradley soccer history by joining the fan club Shea Brigade at its inaugural game Friday.

Your not counting the band are you?. In reality tho, i remember games at the Fieldhouse and 3/4 of the people attending were not Bradley students. It seems it has always been that way. Always had a great and loud band in those days The Peoria metro-area is basketball crazy, and we can fill arenas if the product on the court is good and exciting to watch. Would love to see more student involvement and if anybody can do it it's coach Wardle.

I heard today from a friend who is a former Bradley great who is in the BU Athletics Hall of Fame. He wanted me to know he just got a nice email letter from Coach Brian Wardle. He could tell it was sent to a large number of people, most of whom were past Bradley players or team personnel, and he was one of them who received it.

The letter was a personal invitation from Coach Brian Wardle for my friend (and all the other past Bradley players and personnel) to stop by the athletic department, watch practice, or attend any game any time. He even offered to provide tickets to any home game, or any road game, and encouraged them to come. If they could attend home games, he even offered to honor them in some way.
There was more to the letter, but the purpose was that Coach Wardle wanted the past Bradley greats to know they were always welcome, and their past contributions to Bradley were greatly valued.

What a pleasant change from the past administration who demanded that pictures of past players be removed from the walls of the Athletic Department, who refused to recognize some past players when they attended games, and who brought an end to all the popular older events that fans enjoyed. It sounds like Bradley is ready to start acknowledging their storied and successful past again!

Great work Dr. Reynolds and Coach Wardle!
Ever since this came out i kept asking my dad if he received a letter from Coach Wardle and the athletic department. He told me no, but that he got something from the baseball program. I finally asked him if i could see his baseball letter and it was the letter from Coach Wardle. Hopefully i can talk dad into attending some practices and i will probably have to take him. Yes,i will play that card.
