I still don't have a problem with the personality of GF. I think a coach can be both likable and a successful coach as long as when it's time to go to work they can be taken seriously by the players.

I've got a theory that if you give 100 percent all of the time, somehow things will work out in the end.

After years of watching and listening to Coach Ford, I have come to my conclusion that he is a con man and he duped us all.....remember the Music Man? Nice guy who rode out of town with millions of our $$ and left us with a bare cupboard. Good riddance.

It was certainly time to make a coaching change, but to call the man a "con man" is a false accusation and near liable.

Agree with you guys as well

I think Geno did his best but had a lot of distractions (remember, he's being sued for well over a $ million), made some bad recruiting choices, got started on the wrong foot with discipline (or lack thereof), and most notably had his biggest distraction with meddling from above.

More refreshing news on Brian Wardle....
as busy as this guy must be, he just took the time to send me a nice return e mail from one that I sent to him welcoming him and his family to Peoria, in which I encouraged him to work hard and literally thousands of loyal Bradley fans will respond and fill the arena!
I sent my e mail to bwardle@bradley.edu, but make sure you include copies to:
cabraun@fsmail.bradley.edu
kbothast@fsmail.bradley.edu
as well to be sure the message you send get to Coach Wardle.
He signs off with:
"....it is always nice to hear from such loyal fans. I look forward to bringing exciting basketball to Carver Arena.
See you and your family at our games!
GO BRAVES!
Brian Wardle
Head Coach
Men's Basketball
Bradley University"

the verbals plus the drastic changes in the Athletic Dept to reverse the horrible course of the past 4-5 years have me extremely optimistic....
plus several people I have talked to in the past week that were teetering on giving up their season tickets - and even a few who already had...
are also optimistic and looking to renew or become season ticket buyers again....wow
Every day there's more refreshing news about the program...thanks to Chris Reynolds, Brian Wardle, etc....
I know we're far from being back in the hunt - but to borrow a phrase from the sister of an ex-DI head basketball coach -
for the first time in 5 years I have renewed enthusiasm and am really proud of what's going on in Bradley Basketball!!!
