Report: multiple Bradley players transferring

I sure hope they can field a team. Can you share some knowledge of how they will fill the roster? Is the current recruiting season over? Does it open up again later in the year? I really do not know.

Thank goodness the NCAA dumped the regulation that limited the # of new players a echoolcsn bring in each year.

I believe this rule hurt JL early on in his stay at BU.

Bradley has sent out a press release. Confirms all the transfers and says there are seven players on the roster as of right now. Looks like Thomas is staying.

I don't know about how it can hurt in the short term; when you lose to a D-3 team in the preseason and finish dead last in conference...can it really get any worse?

Though I hope that all the young men have success in their lives, as a fan, I am indifferent to the prospect of even ALL of them leaving.

This is almost funny. How in the hell can we miss the ones that want to transfer. Last time I looked we were dead last and with everyone coming back, I don't see how that would change for next year. Morgan, Wells and Taylor leaving is extremely funning ,who in the hell would want them. Next couple of years are really going to be tough but we'll see what BW is made of. Can't say I'll miss JC either can't shoot a lick. BW can recruit with lots of playing time as an incentive.

Don't forget players transferring out also means players can transfer in. Players leaving other schools may look at Bradley now and see a chance to play. I know it would be a temporary fix until BW can get new recruits in here. Just trying to point another side to this

So the one name I haven't seen mentioned, but based on everything we've seen, doesn't sound like is leaving is Fields. That makes me laugh, because I thought he was one of the most likely transfer candiates.

Anyway, I will miss Cunningham, Sutherland, and Wells. They may not be the best players in the conference but it seemed like those guys at least played hard. That being said, I want a winning team. The fact is the team was a last place team. I liked and wanted these guys to succeed, but they didn't. I have no ill will towards the players choosing to leave, and in fact wish them success in the futuee. I just hope this is the first step towards bringing an MVC championship back to the hilltop.
