Here they are in the exact order they list them...
      -money
      -better resources
      -strong fan backing
      -larger fans base/attendance
-play in MVC - a stronger conference
-better chance to get to the NCAA Tourney
      -better chance for at-large bids
-play tougher opponents, build better RPI
-the presumption is that Bradley will pay Wardle's Green Bay contract buyout, which is $125,000...
I was kind of proud that of the reasons, the top four are pretty much directly supplied by the fans...
the revenue, the better resources built but the campaign that started a decade ago, and the strength of fan support & volume of fan support..
the 2nd four are reasons we have fallen woefully short of the past four years - especially the previous failure to account for the buyout.

Athlonsports.com grades 13 of new Division I coaching hires, including Bradley's hiring of Brian Wardle-

I don't agree much with this writer's grading.

He gives Alabama a "B" for hiring Avery Johnson, who has never coached a single college game in his life. Also, Johnson was far from Alabama's first choice. He was hired after multiple other coaches turned them down.

He gives Holy Cross a "B" for hiring Bill Carmody, even though his record at Northwestern was not good (192-220 [.476], and 70-150 in the Big Ten (.318]), and he never made it to the NCAA Tournament in his 13 seasons there.

He gives Penn a "B" for their hiring of Steve Donahue, even though he was an abysmal failure in his last head coaching job at Boston College (54-76 in 4 years and 8-24 in his final year).

He gives St. John's a "C" for hiring Chris Mullins, who has never coached a game at any level in his life! His coaching resume makes Jim Les' resume in 2002 look like Dean Smith's.
Also, his basketball-playing career ended over 14 years ago, which means the players he will be recruiting probably never heard of him.

Also, He is not very kind to Bobby Hurley, the new Arizona State head coach. He is given a "C" with the comment that "He’s also spent his entire coaching career in the Northeast", as if that means he'll not be able to recruit at Arizona.
But for some reason, they did not seem to think that logic would detract from Shaka Smart at Texas, or Ben Howland at Mississippi State who they gave their 2 highest grades- "A's".

And here is one that is just as mystifying. He gives only one coach a lower grade than he gives Bradley's choice of Brian Wardle-

          Brian Wardle, Bradley
          Hired from: Green Bay

          Replaced: Geno Ford, fired

Wardle was never able to get Green Bay to the NCAA Tournament, but his tenure was nonetheless impressive. The Phoenix were one of the nation’s top mid-majors the recent years, winning 24 games in each of the last two seasons for their best two-year total total since Dick Bennett was the coach in the early 90s. The 35-year-old Wardle played and coached under Tom Crean at Marquette and went to high school in the Chicago area. That should serve him well in Peoria. One concern: Wardle was accused in 2013 of player mistreatment but ultimately retained his post at Green Bay.

          Grade: C

Though anyone is entitled to their opinions, my humble opinion is it seems this writer did not do much homework and made his picks pretty much on name recognition only.
