I am hearing from a reliable source that AD Chris Reynolds had reached a verbal agreement with Brian Wardle to become Bradley's next coach.
An official announcement is to come possibly tonight, or tomorrow.
You heard it here first- even before the national reports reached Twitter!

Even though there is no official confirmation of this, our report is the first anywhere reporting the deal is done with Brian Wardle. The official confirmation will come shortly.

If it is true that Brian Wardle is our new coach, then let us celebrate. We all had favorites and we all research and stay informed. We all debate the pros and cons of our wish list coaches.

I like Coach Wardle because he seems to get things done. I sense he has a fire and energy that will command respect among his players. He is a Chicago guy so perhaps he can use that in recruiting.

Coach Wardle will do an infinitely better job than GF did. Let us all be thankful. Anybody would have been better than who we had. Lets get behind Coach Wardle and give him all the support we can. Lets get Bradley back to respectability.

I have a very close connection to Marquette and Coach Wardle, and can confirm he is excited to become Bradley's head coach!
He'll be ditching all his UWGB green ties and clothes, and stocking up on Bradley red.

I agree-- I kind of figured a couple of the "bigger names" that had been rumored for the job would not come here--and then after hearing Nagy pulled his name out of the mix--I am ok with Wardle too and will support him. Anyone will be a welcome change--I am already flushing the Geno debacle out of my mind.

Yes, their top player Keifer Sykes, was a Mac Irvin player. He also has a great relationship with the Illinois Wolves, the other top AAU program in Illinois that produces a huge number of D1 players. Another one of Wardle's players, Greg Mays, was from the Illinois Wolves.
