There are some great games tonight in the IHSA Class 3A and 4A Supersectionals, including one massive upset
In 3A, Peoria Manual was eliminated by Rockford Lutheran in the DeKalb Supersectional. And Chicago Morgan Park will get back to Peoria with a win over Country Club Hills Hillcrest at the Joliet Supersectional-
In Class 4A there was a huge upset in the Normal Supersectional at Redbird Arena. Normal Community HS, coached by a brilliant coach who is originally from Morton, Dave Witzig, has upset a talent-laden, #1 ranked Chicago Simeon team that has won the last two Class A state titles, 64-50. Congratulations to Coach Witzig and his Normal Community Ironmen!
This is already being called the upset of the year in Illinois HS basketball.
