Just as Bradleyfans.com predicted over a month ago- Chris Reynolds was named as the new AD tonight! Yesssss. Things continue to fall into place for a revival of Bradley basketball!

His responsibilities at Bradley will begin immediately....
Reynolds will be formally introduced to the public at noon Wednesday, March 18, in the Nick & Nancy Owens Atrium of the Renaissance Coliseum. The public is invited to attend. He will be available to speak with the media one on one immediately following his introduction on Wednesday.

Isn't it interesting.....so far, everything that was predicted here, back at the beginning of February, and well before anyone else reported them, and which many people denied and called "BS", and which we were asked to retract, is now proving to be 100% accurate and true. The pieces to a Bradley resurrection are starting to fall into place, and Bradley fans are ecstatic!
Just as I have tried to reassure doubters, the Board of Trustees is being advised and counselled by good, smart people who know what is best for Bradley. BU has spent way too long on the wrong course, misguided by the wrong people.
We are thankful for our sources, who have kept us accurately informed.
Now, there is just 1 more domino to fall.....

Thank you - this is the move that should have been made five years ago - but then it shouldn't have had to have been made except for the move in 2009 that accelerated our slide towards DII.

This move had to be made and I applaud that it is finally done... Maybe we've now seen the last of the 6-page PJS columns telling how great we've been doing for the past 5 years under the old AD -

a couple things - I missed in the newspaper article the nod to Bradleyfans for having this report of Chris Reynolds a month and a half ago..

then I wonder if this new AD will introduce himself like the last one by talking about how severe and deep the mess is at Bradley and how long it is gonna take to clean it all up...

or is he just going to be no-nonsense, and get on the job and do it rather than griping about it then claiming success when we are headed steeply the wrong way?

Personally - I love this selection - I have been saying so since January...
This is a choice that is endorsed by many great Bradley people from Chuck Buescher to Chuck Westendorf to Dick Versace..
and now I would love to hear from those "experts" who claimed the reports about Reynolds have been untrue for the past month or more...

I still believe that regardless of what was cited publicly as the reason for the "takedown notice" the actual reason Bradley wanted the report taken down was specific names were cited as replacements well before they should have been. It's been noted Dave and Kirk have said changes would be made without ever specifically saying who would be joining a Bradley. It's just a terrible idea for reporters to report everything they know as soon as they know it.

Ok ok.....you guys have inside sources. Good for you. I couldn't give 2 &$its about who reported what first or any pissing contests between boards.

Lets unify and get frickin' excited!!!!! Onward and forward. For the first time in a long long long time there's a reason to believe!!! So glad the action took place in time to have a legit chance and getting a coaching staff in here to begin the process of restoring the order.
