  • JC's Return

If the reports are true that Jeremy Crouch is out 4-6 weeks with a knee injury, when should we be expecting his return?

Four weeks would be January 27th, BU plays what could be a critical road test at MSU that day.

Five weeks would be February 3rd, BU @ Illinois St.

Six weeks would slate him to return Feb. 10th, when we host Drake.

Let's just hope JC heals quickly and surgery is not needed... That is my New Year's wish!
People need to recognize there is a huge difference between playing hard, and playing well...

I think he won't be at top condition when he does come back.
Let's hope Jeremy returns quickly and has a chance to work his way back into shape. I don't expect him to be a major contributor until near the end of the regular schedule.

Let's face it, this present Bradley team IS NOT a team full of superstars and future NBA players.
This is a fine team of hard working kids who can get things done, and they are well coached.
Of course Jeremy's injury will affect them, but I look for this team to step up, each and every one of them.
From Sam Singh to DR, to Andrew Warren. Even DA.
JC will be missed, but I am pulling for this group to have a great season still, and this is even more chance for Jim Les to show the league and the doubters that he can coach.

Is it to late for a Redshirt?

I know one ISU fan who believes every player returns from an injury in time just for the Redbirds.

Everyone is going to have to contribute more and A. Warren and Sam Singh need to keep getting better each game if they expect this team to continue to have a good season; I believe they can still have a great year as they are not a 1 man show; sure it will be harder but they need to believe in themselves more then ever; there is no i in team.

As if Crouch playing or not playing would have any impact on that game. BU should be embarrassed if they lose to ISU.
Dinma Odiakosa 6'8 255......The Nigerian Nightmare!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 37 points and 27 boards in 2 wins over Bradley. "Will Egolf is 6'9 and he had 4 rebounds. That's not good enough and he's not good enough"....Dick Versace 2/9/10

Bradley will struggle some with JC out.
The opponents have dedicated enough defensive effort to JC that it has helped the other BU shooters.
BU will have to play very well to keep from dropping to the bottom half of the Valley in Jeremy's absence.

#1) Crouch playing/not playing has an impact on every game.

#2) BU losing on the road at ISU isn't an embarrassment.

#3) ISU fans should be embarrassed that they rush the floor and act like they won the National Championship when the beat BU.
