Doug....Please, please get on with it and select the new AD without further delay. Hire him, effective the day after Mike C. resigns. Doug, Although we do not want you and the BOT to go so fast that you make another mistake, there is a time-sensitive urgency to this situation for the following reasons:
1. The resignation of Geno Ford should be handled by the new AD. The longer Geno stays in place as a "lameduck", the higher the likelihood that some of our players who we will need next year will leave.
2. The availability of good coaches is at its highest during tournaments. Many coaching changes are taking place right now and by waiting too long, we could miss the bus. We need the new AD on board asap to interview and hire the new coach.
3. We need the new coach on board by Spring and very early Summer to take advantage of player recruiting during that time. If we wait until mid or late summer, the ship will probably have sailed.

yes - we're nowhere close to landing anyone for next fall - and a new coach will be already at a horrific disadvantage with almost every available kid for 2015 who has any talent or ability to help us is long gone....
..our insistence in sticking with this bunch who have lost a whopping all time Bradley record of 86 games the past four years - has left us stuck so deep in the mud that it's gonna be 2020 before we can get out of playing on Thursday again..
