T...Regarding your post comments on Brett B.,my opinion of him is based on one approx.2-1/2 hour lunch during which we discussed most of the problems at BU. He was a very good listener and empathized with what I said, although it was difficult for him to comment on specific issues because he hadn't been at Bradley very long at all. Also, his boss was Mike Cross so he had to be somewhat guarded.
He did agree that the Itoo Hall thing should be reinstated and he was very strong is suggesting a fan council that would meet regularly with the AD to offer suggestions and recommendations. He expressed great concern over poor student game attendance and the loss of fans. Brett is a mid westerner, has a basketball background, has coached basketball, and was at Indiana State at one time. My impression of him was/is that he is an open minded listener with a very good background and resume. As such, I hope he stays at Bradley.

      would love to -
many fans used to get calls, invitations, and attend those fan appreciation breakfasts, lunches, summer Meet & Greets and get-togethers, ITOO Suppers, community events, etc...
not just high level donors, but a lot of the average fans and kids -

I sure hope whoever takes over as AD realizes how much the fan base loved and appreciated those events, and how much it's hurt the following and attendance to discontinue them. They worked!

Great post wizard. I would also echo the comments and praise for Dr. Brett Burchette! You can follow him on Twitter too at @BrettBurchette. He's only been a Bradley a short time and his positive energy and enthusiasm are contagious. He's brought some great, new ideas and his past resume in college Athletics has been very successful.

You can find Brett at nearly every single Bradley Athletics event. Please stop by and say "hello", I know he would enjoy talking to any of us.
