So you cannot even give Nate credit for tonight? What's up! The team plays so much better with him @center and you should know that!

This ends the 36-game losing streak in games on the left side of the Mississippi, and a four-year losing streaking in the Missouri Valley Conference tournament... Wow.

I'm in shell shock. I have forgotten how it feels to win a game in St Louis. Thank you Bradley, and kudos to the fans who drove down. Hats off
        Compete. Defend. Rebound. Win.

It's not that really??¦??¦..his guy scored 24 points and 12 boards??¦.Nate obviously bailed us out at Evansville??¦.we have lost every game since then until tonight??¦
He's our best option at the 5 on offense but certainly not on defense??¦it is what it is??¦..we have several guys like that really

          Bell-no offense decent defense
          Shaw-decent D and no offense
Jones-sometimes good offense, all the time terrible defense
TS and AB inconsistent offense and defense really??¦

certainly that's all on Geno one way or the other

First win west of the Mississippi since the last time we beat Drake at Arch Madness, which was the last W of Jim Les as BU head coach. Not too sure what to write after seeing 95 minutes of bad basketball. The SIU/MSU game was not too much better. I thought our effort on the defensive side of the ball was pretty good on the perimeter. Thank goodness Drake didn't go inside to their big man every time in the 2nd half cause he either scored or got fouled and made every FT, 14 of them. I thought Nate did okay. He had some good moments, some bad moments and some moments that you just shook your head at, kind of like the rest of the team. And can somebody please tell Tramique you don't have to go 1 on 2 all of the time down the lane. And I'm sorry but KDB is just a liability right now. He's got no confidence. Shaw actually didn't hurt us, unlike X. Feels like I'm writing the same stuff after another BU blowup but the guys hung in there and was able to pull a win out of the jaws of defeat. And their reward for their efforts is another crack at UNI who is coming off their 1st loss since their 1st game of the Valley season. Somehow we need to figure out a way to put 2 good halves together instead of one. We just can't have that butt ugly half like we've had twice against them this season. Hopefully we can make this game as painful as possible for UNI. Go get em boys!

a win always feels good - now we have to step it up and not so many airballs

A show of hands, please. A month ago, how many of us envisioned Nate Wells being declared the network TV BU "Player of the Game" in a Bradley MVC tournament win? It was good to see the smiles at the end of the game on our players' faces for a change.

The West of the Mississippi streak has ended! Time to start a new and better chapter.

Tonight is our NCAA tournament. Go make national headlines and beat UNI!

Yeah - I always say no matter what happens after that 1st win in StL is ok...then we have a crap game and I don't feel that way.
I just hope we are competitive with UNI, especially in the 1st half. I see a 20-point Panther win. Hope we are not gassed.

We'll never know what could have been had Wells gotten some playing time the last two years to hone his craft. Kid is definitely one of, if not THE hardest worker on the floor for us.

I've got a theory that if you give 100 percent all of the time, somehow things will work out in the end.
