  • Next Thursday

The results of Saturday's games will determine our game time next Thursday in St. Louis

Our only two possibilities are to end up either the #9 seed or the #10 seed.
CURRENTLY, we are in a tie with SIU for the #9 seed (both teams are 3-14) and we split the season series, but we own the Strength of Schedule tiebreaker vs. SIU

If after Saturday's final league game, we end up the #9 seed, then we will play at 6pm Thursday vs. the #8 seed and that will be Missouri State...for the right to then meet the league's #1 seed (Wichita or UNI) at noon Friday - only 18 hours turnaround time.

If we land in the #10 seed slot, then we will face the #7 seed at 8:30pm Thursday and that will be Drake, as Drake cannot move up to the #6 slot no matter what as they lost the season series head-to-head vs. Loyola.... for the right to then meet the league's #2 seed at 6pm Friday - 21.5 hours turnaround time.

We will not know the #1 or #2 seed's identity until the Saturday, 1pm game between UNI & Wichita is over and the winner will be #1 - the loser will be #2 seed.
I don't personally have a strong preference who we get because they are each about as likely to crush as the other - but if forced a gunpoint to pick one or the other as an opponent - I'd take UNI.

Of the four possibilities tomorrow - we win 3 of them based on our better SOS than SIU

If we win & SIU loses then we get #9 seed
If we win the SIU wins then we get #9 seed
If we lose and SIU loses then we get #9 seed
If we lose but SIU wins, then we drop to #10 seed, and they get #9 seed

I personally do not like ANY of these scenarios---I am sick & tired of being a perennial Thursday night dog Hoping this is the last of the Geno debacle and then on to moving out of the Thursday night slot in 2016
    Bradley football--undefeated again this year

In spite of our record, ... ... ...

Will there be a bus trip available for our voyage to the same old same old down there? Not much else going on up here right now and a journey of this sort would be a welcomed break in this central Illinois monotony.

haven't heard a thing on any bus trip but since a large number of those going have either the ticket packages and are going to other games or are staying in hotels - I strongly doubt anyone will arrange a bus trip

There has never been a bus trip for the play-in rounds that I can recall. Bradley used to arrange bus trips several years ago for the quarter-final, semi-final, and final games.

I expect Bradley will have the smallest number of fans there in our history this year.

I know some people who are going to St Louis from Peoria. They are going to watch Wichita and UNI, not Bradley. It is too painful to watch Bradley play.

I hope someday to return to St Louis and watch the Braves play. I refuse to go on Thursdays. It was a nice experience and a good break from the cold weather in Peoria.

I'll be there. This will be my 25th straight year in St. Louis, since it was moved there in 1991.
I am just hoping for a 1st round win.

I have always enjoyed the weekend with my kids & the chance to see other BU fans whether we win or lose...
But I agree this year will be way down as far as BU fans are concerned..

In past years the exact numbers of ticket sales were made public...

The numbers this year show no school with fewer than 225 since I guess that the minimum that the schools were required to take & sell
