This loss puts Bradley into a 9th place tie with SIU and clinches 9th or 10th place, not that it really matters at this point.

SIU plays at home against Drake Saturday, while Bradley plays at home against Indiana State.

Kirk Wessler says "Bradley might be Bradley America's dumbest team"-

But he still refuses to criticize the coaching.

Just another in a long list of frustrating losses for BU. We were 2-18 from 3, 22-53 from 2 and 19-31 from 1 while Missouri State was 8-27 from 3, 20-38 from 2 and 16-24 from 1. Austin Ruder had 5 of those 3's and led the Bears with 20 points while Dorrian Williams had 6 points and a team leading 10 rebounds and team leading 7 assists. In 55 minutes we only had 9 assists. Tramique had 20 points to lead BU while Warren Jones had 16 and Josh had 15 points and 21 rebounds, the most rebounds in a game for BU since Joe Strawder had 22 in 1964. His 11 offensive rebounds tied the all time mark. This was the longest game for BU since the 7 OT game against Cincinnati in 1981, only the third game in history to go 3 OT's. Got up by 7 in the 2nd overtime and couldn't hold it. Hopefully after next Thursday in St. Louis will be the last that we see of this coaching staff. Need to hit the reset button.

            I have a question...
why after a player badly misses a free throw - why does he step forward off the line and slap-five with his teammates on the lane?
What, are they congratulating the guy for clanking his FT?
They are trying to tell them to shake it off. It's an effort to boost the shooter's confidence.

well, younger than me maybe but just who are the young players?

The guys who played the most minutes - and the only ones who played more than 5 min. last night are-
Sutherland- a junior, is almost 22 years old
Cunningham- he is the youngest on the team but he played the best game and made zero mistakes that I saw or recall!
Jones- a junior, almost 21 years old
Bell- a junior, 21 years old
Barnes- a senior, 23 and a half years old
Wells- a senior, almost 22 years old
Taylor- sophomore, 20 years old but played a far better game than any he's played in a couple months
Grier- junior, but almost 24 years old
                    Shaw- a junior, 22 and a half

so the average age of those guys who played 270 of the 275 minutes last night is almost 22 years of age-

By stark contrast- Missouri State played heavy minutes with freshmen & underclassmen, they have ONLY two guys on their entire roster who are 21 or more, and their average age is about 20!
Getting tired of the lame excuses - but even more tired of the media guys just playing along with those fake alibis and not calling anyone out on that stuff.

wonder why there was not a single mention or comment in either the PJStar coverage or in any of KW's tweets about that flagrant act by Barnes to clobber the opponent with an elbow out in the middle of the floor that everyone would see- that he received a technical for rather than a flagrant foul

MSU's beat writer reported the refs' explanation
"Ref explained the foul to me: dead-ball contact technical on Auston Barnes."

this needless, conscious act during a stoppage of play gave them 2 FREE points in a game that ended in a tie... so whatever...

Age does not make you better. I suck and I am old.
