Missouri State 80 Bradley 77 in 3 OTs

after a play stoppage he waited 'til an opponent was walking past then gave a completely uncalled-for cheap shot with an elbow....
it was reviewed on the monitor and called a technical foul but should have been a flagrant-1 or possibly -2
we launch bricks like no team I have ever seen in my life -
the 1st half had 3 or 4 airballs and several more than hit unintentionally glass first or clanked hard

we are 1-11 from 3-pt...and 2-4 from the FT line
Barnes isn't playing - maybe good - we're actually playing better
I have a question...
why after a player badly misses a free throw - why does he step forward off the line and slap-five with his teammates on the lane?
What, are they congratulating the guy for clanking his FT?

They threw a soft - almost effortless press at us and we folded and gave away the ball a couple critical times
then we mismanaged the final minute of just about every OT wasting crucial seconds with no apparent offensive plan.
we really have nobody to blame for finishing 10th and playing Thursday - we are a far more talented team than Missouri State - they even FOULED OUT THREE STARTERS and had only six scholarship players remaining to finish out the game - and they still pulled away from us at that point!
but the silliest play was right at the end when Missouri State was ahead by FIVE with under 2 seconds- and Missouri State's Tyler McCullough goes for the block & fouls Jones shooing a 3-pointer.
Surely he has to know that even if he drains the shot the game is over & they win but by fouling Jones he gave us the only possible hope .. that if the shot went we could miss a FT and tip in..
in the end - moot but I am sure his coach talked to him about that bonehead play

Well, after listening to Geno on the post-game show, I was hoping he wouldn't throw the players under the bus again, but that is exactly what he did. One by one he singled out nearly every player who he thought made mistakes, and enumerated and criticized dozens of plays and mistakes that were made. For nearly 20 minutes, he ripped into his players.
Interesting that after reeling off a long string of criticisms of the players, he said "these are the kinds of mistakes made by young players".
But doesn't he realize that the better players are the ones who are younger and have had less time with this coaching staff (Josh, Tramique, Jones), and the most disappointing players are the ones who have been with Geno the longest (Bell, Barnes, Shaw, Grier, Fields).
