The last time Bradley scored less than 40 points was during the 2012-13 season. On Jan. 26, 2013, Bradley lost at Wichita State 73-39-
WICHITA, Kan. ? Wichita State flexed its defensive muscle by holding Bradley to 21 points over the final 31:26 and the 20th-ranked Shockers pulled away for their 20th straigt home win, 73-39, Saturday.

So that makes twice under Geno that Bradley has scored less than 40 points.

As far as I can tell (correct me if I am wrong), the previous time Bradley scored less than 40 points was all the way back in Jim Molinari's first season (1991-92). On January 27, 1992, Bradley lost at Missouri State 51-37.

Not sure what you guys expect. If it is shooting 50 % from the 2 and 40 % from the 3 let me tell you a little secret. IT ISN'T GONNA HAPPEN. Not on our best day . Unless you haven't noticed these guys CAN'T Shoot. Dah There also is no way to coach up these guys. John Wooden would quitif he was stuck with this group.

Not sure what you guys expect.

I guess I expect what every single basketball fan, and virtually every fan of any sports team team anywhere expects. A team, no matter how good or bad they are, should get better as the coaching staff works with them, not worse. They should show some effort and desire to win, and they should be embarrassed by this kind of loss. I expect a glimmer of hope that my team can improve, get up for a big game, play hard, challenge other teams, and actually try to win games, not roll over, give up, or play to try to keep the score down so they don't look so bad in the paper.
I expect some kind of accountability from the coaches, the AD, and the President who created this embarrassing mess. Yet all we get is the administration patting themselves on the back for the great job they've done, and the coach and media blaming the players and digging up every excuse they can come up with. There are some worse teams in Division I, but there are none that disappoint their fans and underachieve as much as this team does.

back a few years when Molinari took a pretty good team into the NIT - we faced a Siena team here on our own home court that we should have been able to beat handily..
but they studied game film and knew that exactly what Molinari was going to do and they devised an offensive strategy and set the exact picks and screens and beat us to the hoop all nite long and Mo simply wouldn't go zone despite that they were a poor 3-pt shooting team. They won & we lost and I was impressed with their strategy - it won the game with a far lass talented team - we had Deon Jackson, AP, Billy Wright, Marcus Pollard, Chad Kleine..etc...they had nobody you had ever heard of either before or since.

I know that was a long time ago but I have never forgotten how their guy outcoached our guy...
Their guy was hired two weeks later to coach MARQUETTE!
It can happen - coaches do rise to the occasion - Jake & Marshall do it, so does the Augustana guy....

Wooden wouldn't recruit guys who couldn't shoot. Geno is stuck with these guys because he recruited them.
What part of illegal don't you understand?

It seems as if all kids want to do is dunk and shoot 3's. The mid-range game is almost extinct.

I believe that was Canisius. We lost to Siena up there the year before, after beating Murray State and Old Dominion at home.

Geno makes enough excuses for himself. I think that everyone else can stop making excuses for him. Time to just move on anyway. Does anyone else have any opinion or info on Lavall Jordan? I think that he would be a great fit at BU. Everything that I have heard and read sounds impressive. Sounds like he really wanted the Butler job too. My understanding is that he has great character and is well-respected by coaches and players. He has a reputation as a significant recruiter AND a reputation to teach and help players improve.

Time to move on, from this game and this coach. He laments on how bad a shooting team we are. All I would say is this: Hey Geno. Who was the one who offered a scholarship to these players? If they are such bad shooters shouldn't you be doing something about that like, I don't know, teach them to shoot better? Or how about this one. Recruit some freekin shooters. I've said it before and I'll say it again. How in the world can a guy, who all he did as a player was shoot, not recruit any shooters. Now, because of our offensive acumen, we are having to resort to playing bounce, bounce, bounce, and bounce the basketball some more about 30 feet from the basket until the time is about to run out on the shot clock so we can limit the other teams offensive possessions. That's fine if you have someone who can knock down a shot. You can hear it in Geno's voice on the recent post game shows about how frustrated he is with the team. He should be most frustrated with himself. It's his team and his responsibility to coach them up and get them better and for 4 years, by and large, he has failed miserably at that and for that he's got no one else to blame but himself.

wow - good thing I was close to the bathroom when I read the BU game story this morning -
You'd think we all deserve some sort of medal for losing by less than 20 & holding their star to just 9 pts & 8 rebs....
(Dontcha wish our big guys would combine for 9 pts & 8 rebs??)

UNI beat us as badly as they've beaten anyone else ALL SEASON LONG!

And it's not like we made him miss his shots- he didn't miss a single one!

btw - what's with Jermaine Morgan - the guy never plays a minute any more yet he was Geno's pick for starter

terrible judge of talent during the recruiting process - touting everyone as tremendously talented, scorers, athletic, defenders, deep, versatile, etc...
                            and the media following suit-
They are good kids & can't deny that at times they play very hard and they try but facts are facts - we are the worst team in a very weak MVC bottom end and we shoot worse and score worse than any team in the recent history of Bradley University

Mike Cross is still the A.D. I would assume that there will be an interim athletic director named on March 16th.
