      speaking of IWU
they have three guys who have shot two or more 3-pointers per game and who average better than 42.5%

Two of them have shot many more..
      Jordan Nelson 51-120, 42.5%
      Bryce Dolan 52-114, 45.6%
and they shoot 40% as a team and win way more often that they lose

I really don't give much of a dang about who says what on message boards- I find it interesting but not bothersome.
...and as you would have seen in that thread last week about Cross leaving, I repeatedly said I would be cautious in discussing something of that nature until it is released officially - EVEN THOUGH the info was accurate & correct.
So maybe you quoted my post but weren't really aiming your question at me but that's the answer anyway.

...and since you mentioned what's IMPORTANT, here's what's really important to me ranked roughly in order...
-God, faith, & doing what's right
        -family
        -friends & others
-morality, integrity, etc...and also taught to our kids
-job and duty to country & others
-do the best you can & this extends to BU and basketball
-then somewhere down the list a ways is that I have an undying passion for Bradley basketball - always have & always will.
And since Bradley would obviously want such fans then it makes for a great match. But I want to see them win. Win every game even tho I know that's not likely - but at least strive for the best. And then I want all the other aspects - the appeal to other fans, the top level of competition, the satisfaction in our successes...etc..
-then I also like talking Bradley basketball and this is a great place to do it.
I am referring to importance with respect to Bradley Basketball - I believe you knew that. I guess my only point is that at one point this board was a great place to discuss BU Basketball, and about 5 years ago it degenerated to name-calling, it's been up and down since. I don't particularly see the value is saying X was right, X was wrong, X was first - that's a urinating contest and I'd rather talk basketball. We're hopefully at a significant turning point for BU BBall and I don't see the point in dwelling on that kind of stuff.

the spats exist on all forums...people just have differences of opinions, that shouldn't bother anyone, but...
I just find that the spats are 2% of content here while 98% of content elsewhere.
If you claim otherwise- please find me an example of a 700 page thread here that is nothing but immature attacks, name calling and crybaby-stuff.
And... you won't find a 20 page "Fire Geno" thread here either filled with posts by people who swear they are never coming back to post again then they come right back to post again.

I agree about this- We should focus more on what the future holds for Bradley now that things are destined to change drastically, something we here have been calling for a long time.

But, I disagree with you in this sense- IMO, pointing out failures, which many fans have been doing here, in other forums, and in other ways (other message boards, letters to the editors, letters to the BOT, dropping season tickets and donations, etc.) was important while things were going down the drain, especially since those in charge at Bradley refused to acknowledge it. Instead, in addition to refusing to acknowledge their failures, they insisted on extending contracts for those who were failing, and doubling and tripling spending on failing policies. Also, BU officials even tried to shut down those who pointed out the failures (i.e. I was asked personally by Dr. Cross to shut down this board when criticism got a little too hot), and while the local media played lapdog and continuously kept whitewashing over the failures and stroking those in charge.

In fact, as an example of how complicit the PJ Star has been in these abysmal failures, this one single article by Dave Reynolds announcing the resignation of Dr. Cross on Feb. 16-

That one article points out more of the failures of BU athletics in the past few years than all the other articles and column the PJ Star has published in the last 5 years combined (and it still omits most of them!)!

Where were they while Rome was burning?
So, if not for these other forums and ways for the loyal, generous, and caring BU fans to express their disgust and point out the failings in the face of BU and the PJ Star telling everyone how great everything was, I guarantee things would not be getting fixed now.
