Heading to Des Moines tonight to see one son, then on to Chicago Thurs to see my other son for a couple days.



For some reason, they can't get out to warm sunny Az this winter, so I have to go back to the cold, snowy Midwest to see em this year.

With the Daytona 500 on Sunday and with me coasting in the runner up spot with 4 games to go there's still time to pull a slingshot move into 1st.

Evansville - The backend of the Indiana two step will once again show that the Bulldogs just don't dance very well on the road.

Wichita State - Wake me when it's over.

ISU Blue - The Sycamores shouldn't have any problem with the teddy Bears.

UNI - Loyola will compete but the train keeps on rolling.

ISU Red - I want to pick BU but as much as the Redbirds have underachieved and struggle to win close games they are still not as bad as us.

Hard to believe we're down to the last 4 regular season MVC go-rounds this season. I'm going with some safer bets this time out, so here goes on Valley shoot-out #15:

Aces > Bulldogs..........DU coming on strong, but this is a game UE needs to win at home
Shockers > Salukis.....WSU gathering some momentum with Arch Madness looming
Trees > Bears............MSU just might tough this one out at home, but still going with ISU
Panthers > Ramblers..UNI is really starting to play some pretty high level ball
Redbirds > Braves......ISU is in must-win mode for the stretch run heading to St. Louis

Maybe a surprise or two this week in the MVC as there always seems to be when teams across the Valley go after it. I'll be watching
